INDIA WINS with Chennai Express

Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone dance on Kashmir Tu, main Kanyakumari in film Chennai Express

What a delightful film Chennai Express is, one which I can watch with my parents and kids around. Not one moment to feel queasy about. No exposing, no cheap jerks and no filthy language. In fact, fun and light-heartedness of the script kept everyone in raptures while watching the film.

INDIA INCREDIBLE: I loved the way India is the highlight in the film. Beautiful cinematography and song sequences. I am yet to see such gloriously calm, picturesque hamlets enroute Rameshwaram but the tea gardens in Tamil Nady - Ooty, do indeed carry that tranquil feel.

India stands out as the HERO in the film Chennai Express.

Chennai Express is a 2013 Indian romcom film directed by Rohit Shetty and produced by Gauri Khan under her production banner Red Chillies Entertainment. The film features Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone in lead roles.

NIMI SAYS: Aptly timed around the 15 August long weekend. It's a hit. Themed around Indian ethics of a marriage and human relations, it's smartly packaged in a way that the youth can understand and relate to today.
RATING: ****

Now, I would want to visit Rameshwaram too after watching the film. But then will I find a Deepika enroute. What if I find Thangaballi too. Ha

Hi Nimisha, Half-saree look is back with Deepika's movie looks. Designer Manish Malhotra did a gerat job styling her.
