Pamela Anderson comes to Mumbai


Canadian actress and Baywatch babe Pamela Anderson, the special international guest at Hindi reality show Big Boss 4 is excited to try out all things Indian but no leather

Mumbaiites who waited with bated breath at the international airport on Monday November 15th night, to catch a glimpse of the voluptuous international celebrity Pamela Anderson were in for a little bit of a dampener. While they fell on to her car, tried to touch her and take pictures, Pamela dressed in a casual grey tunic made her way quickly to her parked vehicle. Onlookers however made hushed remarks about her appearance. It's true that Pam’s recently undergone breast size reduction and is a size 34-D now. Her waistline is an enviable 24 inches. This hands-on mother of two, is gorgeous (open to debate) nevertheless.
So, when designer Ashely Rebello (yes the one who's showstopper actress Sonakshi Sinha tripped on the Bangalore fashion week ramp in September), was approached to design something really cool and Indian for Pamela, his obvious choice was a sheer chiffon Badla saree with mirror work on the borders. Pam's been very particular about ‘no leather’ to be a part of her ensemble, so special sandals with sturdy plastic heels of 4 inches have been brought in for her.

But this wasn’t all. This 5ft 2 inches tall blonde is now all set to make a swimming pool appearance at the media press conference to be held today (Nov 16) in Lonavala near Mumbai. Ashley says as she emerges from the water, her lycra petticoat and sheer white saree will cling to her curves, as an old Hindi filmy number Samundar Mein Naha Ke Tum Aur Bhi Namkeen Ho Gayi Ho will play in the background.

During her three day stay in Lonavala, Pam’s asked for a whole set of clothes like ganji, leggings, kurtas, bangles and bindis too. Salman Khan will be meeting her on Friday as she makes an exit from this reality show house.

Allah tero naam. Ishwar tero naam at Jodhpur RIFF changed my perspective.... Indian Carnatic music maestro TM Krishna collaborates with transwomen singers at the Jodhpur RIFF 2017 This was my very first visit to Jodhpur and I coincided it with an attempt to catch the Rajasthan International Folk Festival (RIFF) whose chief patron is Marwar's royalty Gaj Singh II. One of the renditions by Carnatic music maestro TM Krishna (TMK - as he is lovingly called) changed my life's perspective so much so that this feeling is here to stay and share.
