LIKE QUEEN ELIZABETH (6.5/10): Aishwarya sports a Sabyasachi Mukherjee saree with an embroidered golden hairband. I am not impressed at all with the Queen Elizabeth look in an Indian version.  
BLUE GIRL (8/10): Aishwarya in a teal Gucci gown, raised bouffant hairdo and pretty pink lip colour.

ABU-SANDEEP GIRL (8.5/10): Here's an elegant outfit with Indian embroidery rich with western style gown by designer duo Abu Jani-Sandeep Khosla. Really nice, suits her persona and her age.



MOMMA CALL: Aishwarya with just-woken-up Aaradhya at Cannes 2013. Mom-baby are inseparable...
CORPORATE LOOK (9/10): At the Press Call, Aishwarya dons an official look with a crisp white shirt and black skirt with a trailing extension. Makes her look so slim and smart. Most Indian girls are going to try this trick now!

ELIE SAAB GIRL. (7/10): Nice look but adds the bulk in the wrong places and adds little age with that black-brown tinge.


GIRL WITH THE BLUE SCARF says: Aishwarya Rai always manages to draw the maximum looks and reviews at Cannes Film Festival. This year too, she remained the most anticipated L'Óreal Indian ambassador. What do you say about her looks?

Allah tero naam. Ishwar tero naam at Jodhpur RIFF changed my perspective.... Indian Carnatic music maestro TM Krishna collaborates with transwomen singers at the Jodhpur RIFF 2017 This was my very first visit to Jodhpur and I coincided it with an attempt to catch the Rajasthan International Folk Festival (RIFF) whose chief patron is Marwar's royalty Gaj Singh II. One of the renditions by Carnatic music maestro TM Krishna (TMK - as he is lovingly called) changed my life's perspective so much so that this feeling is here to stay and share. TMK sang a very popular song called 'Allah Tero Naam. Ishwar Tero Naam...' with a 'specific reason' as he perched effortlessly at the break of dawn at  Jaswant Thada near Mehrangarh Fort. With him were the absolute delights of the season — The  Jogappa singers.
