Madhuri Dixit's sweeping elegance




Mumbai was host to the third season of IIJW (India International Jewellery Week 2012) at the Grand Hyatt and look who presented the grand finale with PC Jewels - Madhuri Dixit.

Looking absolutely drop dead gorgeous at 46 years, the dancer-actress is a favourite ambassador for anti-wrinkle creams, elegant designerwear and also wedding jewellery.

With such a strong fanbase waiting for her back in India, little wonder, why she came back from Denver with her bag and baggage, husband Dr Nene and sons, in tow.


Meanwhile, actress Sonam Kapoor has been the brand ambassador of the IIJW since its inception. She too walked the ramp and look as stylish as ever.

Girl with the blue scarf says: Now, amongst Madhuri Dixit and Sonam Kapoor, who wore her jewels better. You decide!

Allah tero naam. Ishwar tero naam at Jodhpur RIFF changed my perspective.... Indian Carnatic music maestro TM Krishna collaborates with transwomen singers at the Jodhpur RIFF 2017 This was my very first visit to Jodhpur and I coincided it with an attempt to catch the Rajasthan International Folk Festival (RIFF) whose chief patron is Marwar's royalty Gaj Singh II. One of the renditions by Carnatic music maestro TM Krishna (TMK - as he is lovingly called) changed my life's perspective so much so that this feeling is here to stay and share. TMK sang a very popular song called 'Allah Tero Naam. Ishwar Tero Naam...' with a 'specific reason' as he perched effortlessly at the break of dawn at  Jaswant Thada near Mehrangarh Fort. With him were the absolute delights of the season — The  Jogappa singers.
