WHAT WE DO: LinkITBlueCollar believes in bringing about visibility, employability, and respect for youth from lower-income groups in India. Creating specific content and resources that are targeted toward community building and raising awareness in this segment, Nimisha Tiwari is spearheading revolutionary work with trending topics to provide a social platform for the youth in India. Her work is enabling and safeguarding Life and thereby ensuring Livelihoods.
SKILLS, IT, HEALTHCARE: India's vast population from the rural segment often migrates to the urban cities for learning new skills and seeks daily wage work. Skill development is a big attraction for youth that brings along an opportunity to make a living and construct social status in a new environment. Armed with a smartphone, the rural youth feels ready to take on the urban setup with relevant skills.
With just a little support of apt healthcare enabled with real-time Information Technology updates, rural youth will be confident citizens of India ready to live respectfully in urban setups too.
To support skill-driven employability of rural youth in urban circles, LinkITBlueCollar is building a networking digital application wherein verified profiles will be featured and will soon be partnering on a daily basis with employers for skill-driven jobs. Mentorship, community building content, and healthcare tips will be a regular feature on this free networking site to make Indian youth from lower-income groups or marginalized sectors become truly happy individuals, ones who feels visible, accepted and respected.
DURING COVD-19 PANDEMIC: It is essential to Pivot to Provide in Pandemic. With the 3 Ps as a governing factor, LinkITBlueCollar has begun to empower rural youth with Covid-19 resourcefulness and carry on preventive healthcare and educational work at the village level.
The third wave of Covid-19 infections is affecting the rural segment in India. In preparedness for the same, #LinkITBlueCollar has ably collaborated with Samaaveshi Pathshaala NGO ( www.samaaveshipathshaala.org ) in Karjat, Maharashtra, India.
Working with 60 Anganwadi workers who are empowered with preventive healthcare measures for Covid-19 prevention, LinkITBlueCollar is ensuring tailor-made content for this motley crew to bring about revolutionary grassroots level change.
#LinkITBlueCollar has begun Covid resourcefulness championing work with Warli artisans in Gholwad Village of Dahanu on the Maharashtra-Gujarat border. The farming community in Dahanu grows export-quality regional fresh organic fruits including chikoo, lychee, and mangoes. The farming community's young populace is been aided with networking technology to bring Govt-approved Covid-19 preventive preparedness resources.
SUPPORT #LINKITBLUECOLLAR: The motive is to rise to the clarion call of Indian youth, who are Below Poverty Line (BPL) or from Low Income Groups. Their aspirations can turn into reality with just a little support from others. You too can support with your morale-boosting words, small financial grants even if it is Rupee 1 or more, and also send resources of food, hygiene, and healthcare products to fight Covid_19 infections and stay safe. Isn't a right to good life a basic right for all?
